A.>UK is divided into four regions:

           -England     

           -Scotland

           -Wales

           -Northern Ireland

B.>They differ in terms of many things but the following are just some of them:

             i.Population

            ii.National symbols

           iii.Capital cities

            iv.Topography

             v.size of the area

              

                      1.>ENGLAND

      Is the largest among all four regions in the UK.It covers an area of 50,346 square miles and according to census of 2008 it was estimated to have 5144600 people.Its capital and largest city is London and topography consists of rolling hills and lowlands.Its national symbol is as seen below;

                          2.>SCOTLAND

          Is the second  largest regions among the four regions in the UK.It is located at northern part of Britain and covers an area of 30414 square miles. Population was estimated to be 5,194,000 people in 2009.The topography varies according to areas in the north there are high mountain ranges,the central covered by lowlands and the south there are rolling hills and uploads.One of its national symbols:

                   3.>WALES

    Is the third largest regions in the UK which covers an area of 8022 square miles.The census of 2009 estimated wales to have 29993000 people.The largest and capital city of wales is Cardiff, it is known to be the wettest regions in Europe.The topography mostly consists of mountains and has marine time climate.It is usually mild in winter and warm in summer.The following is one of its national symbols:

                    4.>NORTH IRELAND

          Is the smallest region in the the UK and covers an area of 5345 square miles.It is located at northern part of island. In the 2009 censor it was estimated to ave 17890000 people as a population.Its topography consists of uplands and valleys.The following is one of its national symbols:
